Professional Scrum Product Owner Training
The right product ownership is key to working successfully with the Scrum methodology. The Product Owner represents the customer in the Scrum team, and ensures that everyone has the right vision of the project. They also determine what one or more Scrum teams should deliver based on the needs of the customer or business. During this training, our trainers train you to be a Professional Scrum Product Owner. All aspects of product ownership are covered in two training days. You’ll also gain knowledge of the most important principles of Scrum. This training includes an exam.
Certification
After following this training, you’ll take an multiple choice exam online. You can do this at any place and at any time, but at the latest within two weeks after following the training. If the score of this exam is at least 85 percent, you’ll receive the ‘Professional Scrum Product Owner’ certificate. This certificate is issued by Scrum.org.
What will you learn?
You prepare yourself through self-study with the material that you receive from us. The day before the training you discuss your individual learning objectives with the trainer. The two-day training consists of a mix of interactive work sessions, assignments and presentations. You follow this training in a group with a maximum of twelve participants. After the training you’ll finish the course with an exam on Scrum.org, after which you obtain your Professional Scrum Product Owner I certificate. Three weeks after the training, the trainer will contact you to see how you are doing in practice.
Who should attend?
Professionals who fulfill or plan to fulfill the role of Scrum Product Owner. In addition, the training is of added value for everyone who has to deal with software development from a customer perspective and wants to gain in-depth knowledge of the Scrum methodology, such as project leaders, project managers, IT managers and clients.
Prior knowledge
You do not need to have any prior theoretical knowledge or experience to participate. We do, however, recommend acquiring some basic knowledge prior to the training by reading the Scrum Guide: www.scrumguides.org. The Professional Scrum Product Owner training is suitable for a minimum of six and a maximum of twenty participants. Both groups and individuals can register for the program.
